Shimano Tyrnos 30 2 Speed Lever Drag

The Tyrnos II (2 speed) is one of Shimano’s fastest lever drag multipliers, with extra large gears and an extended handle length for increased torque generation. 
The  2-Speed Tyrnos (II) models are the perfect reels if you fish deep oceans for extra large fish including Sharks, Skate, Monster Conger and Tuna. In their fastest setting they can rip leads up from the bottom at up to 115cm per handle turn, but with a simple press of a button seamlessly turn into awesome cranking machines, capable of winching the meanest Conger, Tuna or largest Shark.
The Tyrnos is tough enough to handle anything that saltwater can throw at it. Built on a strong aluminium frame, with 4 A-RB (anti-rust) bearings, extra large stainless steel gears, an aluminium power handle with oversized rubber handle, and a huge amount of drag power, this is a serious piece of kit. Continuously meshing gears for seamless transition an an ultra loud clicker, plus a ratchet lever drag that clicks reassuringly in place when adjusted. An additional adjustment knob allows you to fine tune the pre-set resistance for either strike or full drag, making sure everything is perfectly set when the battle commences.
